Georgia Senate formally recognizes and commends Gail B. Hambrick for her service as Clayton County Commissioner for District 2, representing portions of College Park, Forest Park, and Riverdale

Commissioner Hambrick has resided in Clayton County for more than 30 years and has focused on public safety, infrastructure, and community engagement initiatives

Under her leadership, Clayton County expanded neighborhood watch groups and strengthened emergency response capabilities for fires, flooding, and extreme weather events

She has organized community events including the Back to School Bash, Hispanic Heritage Festival, and June Jam

Hambrick received the Unsung Hero Award from the State Legislative Black Caucus for her public service
