Georgia Senate resolution commending Leadership Cobb, a leadership development program founded in 1983 by Harris Hines, Johnny Isakson, Phil Sanders, and Jay Whorton to train future leaders for Cobb County

The Class of 2026 consists of 50 individuals selected from hundreds of applicants, led by Chairs Joyette Holmes and Eddie Wade with support from the Cobb County Chamber of Commerce

Program requires eight full-day sessions from September to May, four evening sessions, two three-day retreats, community engagement activities, and a graduation ceremony

The Class of 2026 will participate in Government Day on January 18, 2026, to learn about government operations

Resolution directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide copies to Leadership Cobb and the Class of 2026, whose motto is "Lead the Way"
