Supports intervention strategies at national, state, and local levels to sustain Family and Consumer Sciences programs in the current economic and education environment

Recognizes the Family, Career, Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) and other FCS entities for promoting the field and preparing families to manage everyday life challenges

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to distribute copies of the resolution to Family and Consumer Sciences organizations
