Georgia Senate Resolution 646 formally recognizes Mr. Fred Alexander Sr. for overcoming a more than 20-year battle with cancer, a disease that claimed the lives of multiple family members including his brothers, father, uncles, and grandfather

Mr. Alexander served in church leadership for over a decade at Salem Bible Church and is currently a member of God's Divine Grace Ministries and New Birth Baptist Church

He is retired from careers in landscaping, electrical supply, commercial driving, and mechanic work, and has a family including his wife Pat, four children, 15 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to Mr. Fred Alexander Sr.
