Dr. Bacote brings more than three decades of education experience, beginning her career in 1987 as a mathematics and social studies teacher in Newton County Schools

Previously served as assistant principal in Jasper County Schools, Gwinnett County Schools, and Newton High School (returning to Newton County in 2005)

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide a copy of the resolution to Dr. Bacote
