Georgia Senate formally recognizes the Association of Georgia General Aviation Airports (AGGAA) as the industry association for general aviation airports and their corporate affiliates in the state

Georgia has 95 general aviation airports that generate more than $2 billion in economic impact, supporting industries including technology, manufacturing, distribution, tourism, and agriculture

AGGAA was founded in 2021 as a nonprofit to promote general aviation airports, provide education and information sharing, and advocate for infrastructure improvements

Association membership includes airport managers, students, government employees, industry consultants, and airport vendors

Secretary of the Senate is directed to provide a copy of the resolution to AGGAA
