Georgia Department of Public Health urged to study the relationship between sudden unexpected deaths of infants and children ages two and under and the administration of vaccinations

Study must analyze immunization records from the GRITS Immunization Information System from 2013 to present for children who died suddenly and without explanation

Written report due to the Senate by February 1, 2027, containing anonymous data including each child's age at death, full immunization history, and proximity of last vaccination to time of death

Department must collaborate with state and federal agencies and medical experts to ensure scientific rigor and integrity

Department may decline to conduct the study unless the General Assembly appropriates sufficient funding to cover costs
