Georgia Environmental Finance Authority (GEFA) is commended on its 40th anniversary, having been established in 1986 to finance environmental infrastructure projects

GEFA has invested billions of dollars through programs including the Georgia Fund, Clean Water State Revolving Fund, and Drinking Water State Revolving Fund for water and wastewater infrastructure

The agency manages energy programs including the State Energy Program, Weatherization Assistance Program, and Energy performance contracting to support efficiency and renewable energy projects

GEFA serves as the lead agency for Emergency Support Function 12 Annex, coordinating energy and fuel emergency response during statewide emergencies

The Secretary of the Senate is directed to provide a copy of this resolution to GEFA
