Served as AAII's principal liaison to the United Nations Economic and Social Council and previously worked in Atlanta Mayor Maynard Jackson's administration as Budget Policy Analyst and Legislative Review/Governmental Affairs Liaison

Active in Atlanta civic leadership as Co-Chair of the Congressman John Lewis Commemorative Plaza and John Lewis Task Force, and supported organizations including the High Museum of Art, Dance Theatre of Harlem, and AID Atlanta

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide a copy of the resolution to her family
