Georgia Senate celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Roswell Arts Festival, the first arts festival in North Fulton County, which has been organized and operated by resident volunteers for six decades

Festival has contributed more than $1 million toward Roswell's public parks, recreational facilities, and community spaces over its 60-year history

Funding helped acquire and preserve critical parkland, including 63 acres and an additional 9.37 acres for Roswell Area Park, property for Grimes Bridge Park, and 38 acres along the Chattahoochee River

Festival proceeds supported athletic facilities (ball fields, pools, playgrounds, adaptive fields), cultural facilities (Visual Arts Center expansion, Arts Center West improvements), and community spaces (Town Square renovations, Serenity Garden, trail systems)

Secretary of the Senate directed to distribute copies of the resolution to the public and press
