Recognizes and commends the Atlanta Children's Day Shelter for 40 years of service to Georgia's children and families experiencing homelessness, founded in 1986 by the Junior League of Atlanta and North Avenue Presbyterian Church

Approximately 2% of Georgia public school students lack fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, with nearly 60,000 children statewide homeless or in unstable housing

The shelter provides early childhood education, trauma-informed care, mental health services, family support, and crisis stabilization resources using a two-generation (2Gen) approach that serves both children and parents simultaneously

Parents receive workforce development, housing stability resources, mental health services, and individualized case management while children receive education and social-emotional support

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to provide a copy of the resolution to the Atlanta Children's Day Shelter
