Urges the Department of Insurance, in collaboration with the Department of Community Health, to meet with stakeholders to explore best practices for medical surveillance of breast cancer patients after primary therapy

Addresses ongoing debate about the cost-effectiveness, accuracy, and medical necessity of routine imaging (mammography, X-rays, ultrasounds, MRI, PET scans, CT scans) for asymptomatic patients after mastectomy

Stakeholders to be consulted include breast cancer survivors, family members, oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, other healthcare providers, and health insurers

Requires the Department of Insurance to submit recommendations to the Senate Insurance and Labor Committee and Senate Health and Human Services Committee by February 1, 2027

Recommendations must include any proposed legislation, policy, or budget changes needed for implementation
