Honors Jackson, a Cartersville High School graduate and University of Georgia football three-year letterman who played on the 1980 National Championship team and 1982-1983 SEC Championship teams, serving as co-captain in 1983

Recognizes his community leadership through service on multiple state boards including the Georgia Economic Development Board, Lottery Board, Georgia Ports Authority Board, and Department of Natural Resources Board

Directs the Department of Transportation to erect and maintain appropriate signage at the memorial intersection
