Creates a Senate Study Committee on a Museum of African American History and Culture of Georgia to study the preservation, collection, and promotion of African American historical materials and artifacts in the state

Committee composed of 8 members: 6 state senators appointed by the President of the Senate (including the Senate Majority Leader and chairperson of the Georgia Legislative Black Caucus) plus 2 nonlegislative citizen members with experience supporting historically black colleges and universities

Committee tasked with studying conditions, needs, and issues related to establishing a museum and recommending appropriate legislation or action

Legislative members receive standard allowances per Code Section 28-1-8; nonlegislative members receive daily expense allowances and mileage reimbursement for up to 5 days unless additional days are authorized

Committee must file any approved report with the Secretary of the Senate and stands abolished on December 1, 2026
