Designates March 10, 2026, as Qcells Day in Georgia to honor the solar manufacturing company's investments in the state

Qcells built the largest solar panel manufacturing facility in the Western Hemisphere in Dalton, Georgia in 2019, and announced a $2.5 billion investment in 2023 for a vertically integrated solar supply chain factory in Cartersville

Upon completion of the Cartersville facility in 2026, Qcells' Georgia operations will have 8.4 GW annual solar panel production capacity and support more than 4,000 manufacturing jobs

Qcells generates an estimated 6,755 jobs annually across Georgia counties through direct, indirect, and induced employment, driving more than $2 billion in economic output

The Cartersville facility will onshore critical solar supply chain steps currently dominated by China, including ingot, wafer, solar cell, and final module production
