Per capita water consumption within the district has decreased by more than 30 percent since 2000, and 2050 water demand projections have been reduced by 28 percent

Toilet replacement rebate programs facilitated installation of over 155,000 high-efficiency fixtures from 2008 to 2025, and grease-related sewer overflows decreased by over 70 percent regionwide

Local governments and partners have provided over $18 million in matching funds since 2001 to support $17 million in Section 319(h) water quality grants

The district received the 2024 EPA WaterSense Sustained Excellence Award for Outreach and Education and has reached more than 100,000 K-8 students with water education through Georgia Public Broadcasting
