Creates the Senate Rosenwald Schools Study Committee composed of five members appointed by the President of the Senate to study the history and impact of Rosenwald schools in Georgia

Rosenwald schools were built in the early 1900s through a partnership between Julius Rosenwald (Sears, Roebuck and Co.) and Booker T. Washington to fund schools for Black children in rural Southern communities

More than 240 Rosenwald schools were built in 103 of Georgia's 159 counties, serving at least 35,000 children; nearly 5,000 schools were built across the South

Committee members receive allowances under Code Section 28-1-8 for up to five days of meetings, funded from Senate appropriations

Committee must file any findings or legislative recommendations with the Secretary of the Senate and stands abolished on December 1, 2026
