Appropriates $4,800,000 for the Leialii Water Source capital improvement project in Honokowai, Maui for fiscal year 2009-2010.

Funds allocated: $800,000 for design, $3,000,000 for construction, and $1,000,000 for equipment.

Project scope includes design and construction of an exploratory well and development into a production well to provide potable water for state projects in the Villages of Leialii and surrounding area.

Department of Hawaiian Home Lands shall expend the appropriated funds for this project.

Unencumbered funds remaining as of June 30, 2012 shall lapse; otherwise funds do not lapse at end of fiscal biennium and remain available for project completion.
