Establishes a Domestic Violence Task Force within the Hawaii Legislature to facilitate policy discussions addressing domestic violence issues.

Task Force composition includes two House members (one as co-chair), two Senate members (one as co-chair), two domestic violence victim advocates appointed by the Speaker and Senate President, and four representatives from organizations providing services to domestic violence victims.

Task Force term extended to June 30, 2012.

Effective date set to January 1, 2050, to encourage further discussion of the measure.

Committee recommends passage and referral to the Committee on Judiciary.
