Adds definition of "Hawaiian artifacts" to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 6E-2 as objects or materials associated with the culture, history, or heritage of aboriginal Hawaiian peoples who exercised sovereignty and resided in the Hawaiian Islands in 1778 and thereafter

Amends Section 6E-7 to require the State to hold Hawaiian artifacts found on lands or under waters owned or controlled by the State in trust for preservation or proper disposition

Applies the same trust principles already established for burial sites to Hawaiian artifacts under state jurisdiction
