HI HB2312

Establishes a Naturopathic Formulary Committee consisting of seven members: two licensed naturopathic physicians, three licensed pharmacists, and two licensed physicians, appointed by the director of commerce and consumer affairs.

Requires the committee to develop and maintain a naturopathic formulary for naturopathic medical practice, meeting at least once every two calendar years to review and update the formulary.

Changes the naturopathic formulary definition to include vitamins, minerals, dietary supplements, botanical medicines, homeopathic medicines, and hormones consistent with naturopathic medical practice.

Removes authorization for naturopathic physicians to prescribe, administer, or dispense "legend drugs" as part of their practice.

Changes the board's naturopathic formulary publication frequency from annually to biannually, with formularies established by the committee rather than the board; effective July 1, 2020.
