Requires persons and licensees with reasonable belief of insurance fraud violations to furnish and disclose information to the insurance fraud branch to detect, prosecute, or prevent fraud.

Mandates that persons and licensees take all reasonable actions to provide requested information when the branch seeks it to detect, prosecute, or prevent insurance fraud, subject to applicable legal privileges.

Bars individuals or entities from receiving any proceeds or restitution from branch investigations and prosecutions if they fail to cooperate with fraud investigations.

Provides civil liability protection for persons or licensees who furnish or disclose information in good faith without malice and without committing perjury.

Becomes effective July 1, 2010.
