HI HB2737

Directs the Department of Land and Natural Resources to dispose of certain public land parcels not essential to public safety, health, or welfare through public auction or negotiation to generate state revenue.

Excludes specific parcels from disposition: Mauna Kea lands on Hawaii Island, property adjacent to the proposed University of Hawaii Kapolei campus, Kakaako Makai park subdivision lots (2, 3, and 9), and AAFES property.

Includes Leahi Hospital property as an example of public lands that may be considered for disposition.

Grants the State a first right of refusal to repurchase any public lands sold under this bill's provisions.

Sets the effective date as July 1, 2020, to allow for further discussion and consideration.
