Repeals Chapter 501 of the Hawaii Revised Statutes, abolishing the land court entirely.

Transfers all powers, functions, duties, officers, and employees of the land court to the bureau of conveyances to consolidate duplicative real property registration and recording services.

Protects transferred employees by guaranteeing no loss of salary, seniority, benefits, or leave, with non-tenure employees becoming civil service employees without examination requirements.

Transfers all land court property, records, equipment, contracts, and files to the bureau of conveyances.

Maintains existing land court rules and procedures in effect until amended or repealed, with all references automatically updated to refer to the bureau of conveyances; takes effect upon approval.
