Reduces the experience requirement for journey worker specialty electricians from 5 years to 3 years full-time (6,000 hours) and requires 120 hours of community college electrical coursework.

Reduces the board registration period for supervising specialty electricians from 4 years to 2 years as a journey worker specialty electrician.

Requires journey worker industrial electricians to complete 200 hours of electrical academic coursework and reduces experience requirement from 5 years to 4 years full-time (8,000 hours).

Reduces the board registration period for supervising industrial electricians from 4 years to 3 years as a journey worker industrial electrician; effective July 1, 2015.
