HI HB4

Requires the governor to direct the Department of Land and Natural Resources to dispose of Aloha Stadium and its surrounding 104-acre property on Oahu through sale, lease, or exchange.

Mandates the department acquire suitable land at an appropriate location on Oahu for construction of a new stadium using the same methods (purchase, lease, or exchange).

Requires proceeds from the disposition of Aloha Stadium and surrounding lands be applied to the acquisition of replacement lands for the new stadium.

Directs the department to begin implementation immediately and submit annual written progress reports to the legislature until the stadium is disposed of and new lands are acquired.

Effective January 1, 2010.
