Direct the Auditor to perform an audit of private prisons housing Hawaii prisoners at Red Rock Correctional Center, Saguaro Correctional Center, and Otter Creek Correctional Center

Audit shall evaluate the delivery of services and visitation at the three private correctional facilities

Audit shall evaluate the Department of Public Safety's monitoring and oversight of contracts with private prison operators

Ensure Hawaii prisoners serving sentences in Corrections Corporation of America facilities are receiving appropriate services

Committee on Public Safety recommends passage and referral to the Committee on Legislative Management
