Request the Auditor to conduct a sunrise analysis of proposed regulation of archaeologists under H.B. No. (bill number not specified in document) during the 2010 Regular Session.

Auditor must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2011 Regular Session convenes.

Requires this analysis because archaeologists are currently an unregulated profession and Hawaii Revised Statutes section 26H-6 mandates sunrise reviews for any new regulatory measures concerning previously unregulated professions.

Identifies concerns about improper handling of ancient bones and artifacts causing discord in the Hawaiian community and acknowledges the State's interest in preserving historical artifacts and places.

Directs certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Auditor and the Director of Commerce and Consumer Affairs.
