Requests the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to provide information to the legislature on cell towers in Hawaii, including federal, state, and county laws, rules, and regulations applicable to their location, construction, and operation.

Requires the department to document the types of services provided by cell towers and the area of service each tower provides.

Department must submit findings and recommendations to the legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the Regular Session of 2011.

Resolution acknowledges benefits of cell towers for wireless coverage in remote areas while recognizing resident concerns about health hazards, aesthetic impacts, and placement in residential neighborhoods.
