• Requests the Hawai'i Capital Cultural Coalition provide a status report on development of a management plan for the proposed Hawai'i Capital National Heritage Area designation in Honolulu by July 1, 2010.

• Requests information on the Coalition's efforts to address concerns raised by residential property owners and current outreach to area stakeholders during prior legislative hearings on related resolutions.

• Requests feasibility assessment of reducing the proposed National Heritage Area to only the Capitol District area bounded by Richards Street, Vineyard Boulevard, Ward Avenue, and Nimitz Highway.

• Requests evaluation of including mandatory notification and property owner opt-in/opt-out provisions in the federal legislation to protect private property rights.

• Directs certified copies be sent to Hawaii's congressional delegation, state and county legislators, Oahu Neighborhood Board chairs, and local community association leaders representing the affected areas.
