Approves the fee simple sale of a 9.105 acre vacant parcel in Village 8, the Villages of Kapolei, Kapolei, Hawaii (TMK No. 1-9-1-016:88) by the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation.

Parcel is non-ceded land formerly owned by the Estate of James Campbell, currently zoned R-3.5, with a fair market value of $1,836,500 as appraised on June 15, 2009.

Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation will use a Request for Proposals procurement method to select a purchaser for development of affordable single-family housing and mixed-use development compatible with existing residential character.

A public informational briefing was conducted on December 16, 2009 at the Villages of Kapolei Community Center with no objections received to the proposed sale.

Office of Hawaiian Affairs received notice of the concurrent resolution on January 25, 2010, as required by Act 176, Session Laws of Hawaii 2009.
