Recognizes September 2010 as Education Awareness and Appreciation Month in Hawaii.

Dedicates each week of September to a different type of school: public schools (week 1), charter schools (week 2), private schools (week 3), and home schools (week 4).

Acknowledges education's role in Hawaii's economic, social, and cultural vitality and its importance in developing future leaders and stewards of the state.

Requires certified copies of the resolution be transmitted to the Board of Education Chairperson, Superintendent of Education, Charter School Administrative Office Executive Director, and Hawaii Association of Independent Schools Executive Director.
