Recognizes April as "Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month" in Hawaii.

Establishes April as an opportunity to educate the public about sexual violence and encourage prevention, improved treatment of survivors, and prosecution of perpetrators.

Encourages community organizations, businesses, colleges, universities, and media to promote awareness of sexual assault and strategies to reduce its incidence during April.

Acknowledges that one in six women and one in 33 men have been victims of rape or attempted rape, and that one person is sexually assaulted in the United States every two and a half minutes.

Directs transmission of copies to the Director of Human Services and Executive Director of the Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
