Request for State Auditor to conduct a financial and program audit of the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund's maintenance mail order prescription drug program that became effective July 1, 2009.

Audit should review the health benefits plan requirements for active employees and non-Medicare eligible participants to purchase maintenance medications through a Florida-based mail order pharmacy after three 30-day fills or one 90-day fill at retail pharmacies.

Maintenance mail order program allows participants to receive up to a 90-day supply of prescription medication for one mail order co-payment, designed to provide cost savings while maintaining comprehensive prescription drug coverage.

State Auditor must submit findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the convening of the Regular Session of 2011.

Certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the State Auditor and the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Employer-Union Health Benefits Trust Fund.
