Requests the Legislative Reference Bureau to conduct a cost-benefit study with the Department of Transportation on whether retail leasing agents can maximize income from airport and harbor space.

Study must determine current methods of leasing airport and harbor space and identify existing resources, personnel, and costs dedicated to leasing operations.

Study must estimate costs and savings if the Department of Transportation contracts with leasing agents to handle airport or harbor space leasing functions.

Legislative Reference Bureau must report findings and recommendations to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2011 Regular Session convenes.

Responds to recommendations from the Task Force on Reinventing Government's Department of Transportation Subcommittee regarding improved rental revenue from retail spaces at airports and harbors.
