Congratulates William F. Roback, Jr. on his election as Ali'i Nui and Grandmaster of the Royal Order of Kamehameha I during the Papa Ali'i statewide Annual Convention on October 17, 2009.

Acknowledges the Royal Order of Kamehameha I, founded in 1865 by King Kamehameha V, which works to preserve Hawaiian culture, customs, and traditions while promoting friendship, charity, and benevolence among men of Hawaiian descent.

Notes that Roback was born in Hana, Maui, graduated from Baldwin High School in Wailuku in 1957, and retired in 1990 after a distinguished career with the Maui County Police Department.

Recognizes Roback's commitment to maintaining the dignity and standards of the Royal Order of Kamehameha I and bringing pride and honor to the County of Maui and its members.

Extends the House of Representatives' warmest aloha and best wishes to Roback for continued success in his future endeavors.
