Urges veterinarians practicing in Hawaii to allow animal owners to fill prescriptions at a pharmacy or other entity of their choice rather than requiring dispensing through the veterinarian's office.

Acknowledges that some Hawaii veterinarians have refused to allow animal owners to have prescriptions filled elsewhere and insisted on dispensing drugs themselves.

Directs the transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the President of the Hawaii Veterinary Medical Association, the President of the Honolulu Veterinary Society, and the Chairperson of the Board of Veterinary Examiners.
