Request the City and County of Honolulu to post fines on official signs notifying the public that parking in bicycle paths is prohibited and take other appropriate steps to deter such parking.

Request the Honolulu Police Department to regularly enforce existing prohibitions against parking in bicycle paths under section 291C-123, Hawaii Revised Statutes.

Note that parking in bicycle paths forces bicyclists into street traffic and creates serious safety dangers that other illegal parking does not present.

Direct transmission of certified copies of the resolution to the Mayor, Council Chairperson, and Police Chief of the City and County of Honolulu.
