Requests Hawaii's Congressional Delegation to urge the United States Department of Agriculture to adopt nutritional guidelines from the Institute of Medicine for school meals.

Directs the Congressional Delegation to accelerate the Nutrition Education and Training Program and Team Nutrition initiative to improve nutritional quality of all school meals.

Cites that the National School Lunch Program serves 5.1 billion lunches annually in 99% of U.S. public schools at a federal cost of approximately $8.7 billion.

References the Institute of Medicine's report "School Meals: Building Blocks for Healthy Children" which provides recommendations to revise nutrition and food standards for school meal programs.

Requires certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to Hawaii's Congressional Delegation.
