Submits to the Legislature for review a land exchange between the State of Hawaii and the Aloha Council Boy Scouts of America, specifically to correct the inadvertent omission of Tax Map Key (1) 5-9-05:77 (7.838 acres at Camp Pupukea, Oahu) from recorded conveyance documents in 2004.

The land exchange was previously approved by the Board of Land and Natural Resources in 2001-2002, authorized by Act 27 in 2003, and conveyed in 2004, but one parcel was mistakenly left out of the final recorded documents despite being included in all prior approvals and appraisals.

Public lands exchanged total 331.8 acres across three islands (Camp Pupukea on Oahu: 64.8 acres; Camp Honokaia on Hawaii: 238 acres; Camp Alan Faye on Kauai: 29 acres) valued at $1,150,000 total.

Private lands in Waikele, Oahu (three parcels totaling 1.14 acres) valued at $1,209,000 are exchanged to the State, making the private lands worth slightly more than the public lands.

A copy of the resolution is submitted to the Office of Hawaiian Affairs as required by Hawaii Revised Statutes section 171-50.
