Urges the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to adopt rules prohibiting abusive work environments, including workplace bullying, harassment, and intimidation.

Requests the department develop and distribute free information to employers about abusive work environments and the legal consequences for contributing to their creation or perpetuation.

Recognizes workplace bullying as a form of workplace violence that causes physical and psychological harm to employees, negatively impacting job performance and safety.

References the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health definition of workplace bullying as repeated intimidation, slandering, social isolation, or humiliation by one or more persons against another.

Directs that a certified copy of the resolution be transmitted to the Director of Labor and Industrial Relations.
