Requests the State Historic Preservation Division of the Department of Land and Natural Resources and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to work together to clarify the definition of "burial site" under Hawaii Revised Statutes section 6E-2.

Seeks clarification on whether the term "burial site" includes caves or lava tubes, or portions thereof, that were used or viewed as burial sites by Native Hawaiians.

Notes that caves and lava tubes are traditional Native Hawaiian burial locations and that clarifying the definition would help protect Native Hawaiian remains from desecration and prevent burial site disputes.

Requires the two agencies to submit a report on their meetings and any proposed legislation to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2011 Regular Session convenes.

Directs certified copies of the resolution to be transmitted to the Administrator of the State Historic Preservation Division and the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
