Requests Hawaii's congressional delegation to support federal legislation recognizing respiratory therapists as health care providers under Medicare Part B program.

Notes that Medicare patients have difficulty accessing respiratory therapists outside hospital settings because Medicare requires state licensing, and Hawaii is one of only two states without respiratory therapist licensing.

States that prior efforts to regulate respiratory therapists in Hawaii have been unsuccessful, with the State Auditor maintaining that regulation is unwarranted and would be costly.

Directs transmission of certified copies of the resolution to members of Hawaii's congressional delegation.
