Urges the State of Hawaii and Hawaii's congressional delegation to support the emerging Traditional Knowledge Supplement to the Ocean Literacy Principles developed by the Centers for Ocean Sciences Educational Excellence (COSEE).

Asserts that current Ocean Literacy Principles fail to recognize indigenous peoples' cultural, customary, and traditional knowledge, thereby marginalizing native practices and traditions.

States that traditional and cultural knowledge contains empirical, site-specific knowledge that can enhance science education and provide alternative ways of understanding.

Notes that traditional and cultural knowledge has been used to develop medicines and commercial products that have generated significant profits for commercial and pharmaceutical industries.

Directs the transmission of certified copies of the resolution to Hawaii's congressional delegation and the Governor of the State of Hawaii.
