Request for the Board of Land and Natural Resources to direct the State Historic Preservation Division to create and maintain operational guidebooks documenting internal procedures and policies.

Operational guidebooks must include: basics of conducting a review, information sources, explanation of common processes, and sample correspondence.

Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources must report to the Legislature no later than twenty days before the 2011 Regular Session on implementation of the requested actions.

Addresses that much of the State Historic Preservation Division's internal procedures and policies exist only as institutional knowledge and are not readily available in written form.

Certified copies to be transmitted to the Chairperson of the Board of Land and Natural Resources and the State Historic Preservation Officer.
