Amends Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 26-56 to add the administrative director and deputy administrative director of the courts to the list of positions whose salaries the Commission on Salaries must review and recommend.

Updates Section 601-3 to establish that effective July 1, 2013, and every six years thereafter, salaries for the administrative director and deputy administrative director of the courts shall be determined by Commission on Salaries recommendations (previously set by judicial salary commission with last update in 2007).

Commission salary recommendations for these positions may be disapproved by the legislature.

Effectiveness is contingent upon ratification of a constitutional amendment authorizing the Commission on Salaries to review and recommend salaries for the administrative director and deputy administrative director of the courts.
