Establishes a toxic mold remediation task force within the department of health to examine hazards of toxic indoor mold and fungal contamination and recommend prevention and remediation standards.

Task force shall consist of 13 members including the director of health, director of labor and industrial relations, senate president, house speaker, representatives from occupational safety and health, real estate commission, mold remediation industry, and three public members appointed by the governor.

Task force shall examine medical and public health effects, evaluation and monitoring practices, remediation and prevention options, licensing of mold investigators, property owner disclosures, educational materials, and hazard communication.

Task force must submit a report to the legislature no later than 20 days before the 2011 regular session addressing health effects, assessment practices, remediation options, hazard communication recommendations, and standards and guidelines for indoor mold contamination.

Task force automatically ceases to exist on June 30, 2011.
