HI SB2096

Appropriates general revenue funds to the Hawaii Department of Education for fiscal year 2010-2011 to expand the volunteers and partners program to additional public schools.

Directs the Department of Education to adopt administrative rules determining which schools will participate in the expansion and the timing of program rollout.

Requires the Department of Education to submit a report to the legislature by twenty days prior to the 2011 regular session session detailing participating schools, fund allocations, volunteer match statistics, types of services provided, and the approximate value of volunteered services.

Effective July 1, 2010.
