Requires the Director of the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations to investigate facts surrounding a workers' compensation claim and render a written decision within 60 days after the conclusion of a hearing awarding or denying compensation

Requires employers to submit a written report to the Director and claimant within 30 days of denying or indicating non-acceptance of a claim that describes the employer's internal investigation and supporting details substantiating the denial

Prohibits extension of the due date for the employer's written report requirement

Intended to promote timely resolution of workers' compensation claims and reduce financial and personal costs for both employers and employees
