Establishes a charter schools funding task force consisting of five members including the chief financial officers of the charter school administrative office and department of education, the director of budget and finance, and the chairs of the house and senate finance committees.

Task force shall gather detailed information on existing funding sources for charter school per-pupil allocations and compare calculation methods used by the department of budget and finance for both charter and non-charter schools.

Task force shall identify discrepancies in per-pupil allocation calculations between charter schools and non-charter public schools and recommend the portion of debt service, repair and maintenance, and capital improvement expenses to be paid by charter schools.

Task force shall submit a report with findings, recommendations, and any proposed legislation to the legislature no later than twenty days before the 2011 regular session convenes.

Task force members shall select a chairperson and receive reimbursement for reasonable expenses including travel.
